1st Grade Concluded

Another year gone by...boy does it go fast! Ethan is now officially a 2nd grader! We can't believe how fast he is growing up and how smart he is getting. Last Thursday 1st - 5th grade had their award ceremony where Ethan was recognized for silver in acedemics (I believe that is 90-94.9%) and "helper" as character trait. He had a wonderful year in Miss Tollett's class - there was only one time he didn't like her, and he took it back the same day as he realized it was his fault. She really was a wonderful teacher and was very supportive of all Ethan's overbearing family. :-)

We are so proud of Ethan as he earned straight As (other than penmanship, which doesn't count these days with computers and all :-)). He has grown so much as a young boy this year. When we have lunch with him, we look at the K5 kids and feel like it was just yesterday when Ethan was that small and young - then we look at the 2nd graders and they seem so old; that is our now though - 2nd grade!
